Grüezi und allegra! My name is Adrian Tschanz. Now and then I am also called the "kitchen rocker" - which I find rather flattering of course... Anyways, my team and yours truly are always happy to welcome you and fulfil your wishes as well as possible - regardless of the time of day. After various stations in Germany and abroad, I had the opportunity to produce the programme "Tschanz mit allem" as moderator and TV chef with the Swiss broadcaster SRF SRG SSR from 2013 to 2015. With plenty of heart and soul, I am currently managing the Hotel and Restaurant Spedition, which opened in Thun in the autumn of 2016, together with a young and dynamic team.
The relaxed atmosphere of "The Deli" makes the whole family feel at home. Whether in your ski or hiking boots, or in your sneakers and jeans, "The Deli" is the restaurant for any time day and evening. From the extensive breakfast to the simple, quick snack (including to go), guests can also enjoy honest dishes with a distinctive character of their own.Here at "The Deli" we combine cuisine from Lebanon, Israel and the Arabic region with flavours from Switzerland and regional specialities. In the centrally placed ovens, we bake our bread, the cheese sandwiches or prepare Moroccan tagine.
The hide dinner
We are happy to invite our guests on the first floor to enjoy a delicious dinner in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. The grill and the maturing cabinets for the regionally-sourced beef will delight the gourmet in you. Because we love contrasts, our vegetarian and vegan dishes also pamper guests who prefer meatless dishes.
We prepare seasonal, regional and international dishes. The selection focuses on exciting encounters between traditional flavours and spices that we bring back home from our voyages around the world. The open kitchen allows guests to look over the shoulders of our kitchen team and observe their creative processes.
We deliberately pamper our little guests with healthy food - without neglecting the fun that is indispensable for kids.
